Creating Zoom Sessions

Learn how to create and configure professional Zoom sessions for your courses.

Creating a New Session

  1. Go to Zoom Sessions → Add New in WordPress admin.
  2. Fill in the following fields:

Advanced Options

Expand the Advanced Options panel to configure:

  • Enable Waiting Room — Attendees wait in a lobby until you admit them.
  • Mute Participants on Entry — All attendees are muted when they join.
  • Auto-Record Session — Automatically record the meeting for playback.

After Publishing

When you click Publish, the plugin automatically:

  1. Sends the session data to the Tutor Zoom SaaS.
  2. Creates a Zoom meeting via the Zoom API.
  3. Returns the Meeting ID, Host Link, and Join Link.
  4. Stores everything in your WordPress database.
The Join Link is automatically displayed on the linked course page for enrolled students.
